    Askian
A stark, beautiful north-eastern continent of Terra—frozen, wind-scoured, and lit by auroras instead of a sun.
Askian is mostly tundra wrapped around a spine of icy mountains. RAD light ebbs and flows across the day-night cycle, so colors shift: teal seas, blue-white ice, and occasional emerald curtains sweeping the sky.
The Lay of the Land
- Central Highlands: A rugged massif runs through the interior. Snowfields, corniced ridges, and glacial valleys create natural corridors between coasts.
- The O-Sheet: In a wide alpine basin sits a perfectly circular frozen lake. At its heart: a ~50 m opening that glows a faint red— to depths unknown - marking a conduit toward the darker timelines below. Dominions treat it like a harvest site for magic energy; locals treat it like a wound in the world.
- Coasts: - West/North-west: Broken shorelines, iceberg traffic, and fog.
- East: Tall, shadowed cliffs with rime and blowholes where the sea booms.
- South: Lower, flatter tundra where hardy scrub and black rock peek through drifted snow.

Settlements (from tiny to tough)
- Chitt — A weather-beaten outpost on the north-western tip; ice, nets, and stubborn boats.
- Jub — Cliff-sheltered homes inside the mountain country; smoke plumes disappear into spindrift.
- Drep — Far-eastern village clinging to the brink above the dark sea.
- Globdia — South-border town where permafrost loosens just enough for roads and trade.
Weather & Light
- Acto → Tront: RAD rises and falls, so visibility changes with the auroras. Clear Acto brings knife-edge shadows; stormy Tront turns everything to soft, green-blue glow. Blizzards can roll in fast from the shelf seas.
